Maggie May was spayed at just under 4 lbs and did fine.
I would, along with doing presurgery bloodwork, make certain that the vet was experienced with small breed dogs. This is very important as small dogs are much different that larger dogs. Best of luck with your little ones spay. We'll be sending good thoughts and prayers.
