The one thing he did say is that if she couldn't withstand a simple spay surgery there were probable underlying conditions that would surface later. You have to weigh the pros and cons and make that decision. I felt like the risk of pregnancy and everything that goes with being unspayed was far greater than the risk of the surgery.
