I was able to find a local Banfield Pet hospital that was open and able to squeeze her in turns out it was tape worm.... Totally gross yes i agree! they gave my poor baby a shot and 5 days of Panacur and flea prevention and heartworm prevention.
They said she got it from a flea... Ugh!! Never had any fleas before let alone worms.... we have pin pointed that they could have got the flea from their grooming appointment according to the vet and we are checking our other dogs so far fingers crossed I don't see anything.... but her mom still likes to groom her... so on Monday even though I don't see anything I will take in a fecal sample to our regular vet.
and a check up in two weeks and also a 4 week check up
