 grieving
Belle and I send our sympathies to you and your family, we've been there I know it's hard. My Miniature Schnauzer died about a year ago and our lab was there with us so he knew she was gone. They were together all the time and she was the strong one. He grieved alot, he's sit on the couch and stare at the wall or lay on the floor with his head in her little bed. We tried to distract him with attention and walks. He really didn't get better until we got Belle. It took a few days for him to accept her but now they are best friends. 85 pounds and 6 pounds, quite the combo. TJ (lab) still won't play with any of Abby's old toys. He's 12 years old now and I know Abby comes to visit him and he knows they will be together again soon. Hope your little one comes out of it soon. I'll be going through the same thing with Belle when TJ is gone, not looking forward to that.
