I don't think I could give up my sweets

But I have stayed with my New Years diet for 3 years now. (I lost 80 pounds- and have keept it off) I do like my sweets a few things I did to loose the weight.
1- I cut my meal portions to about half
2- still eat when I want to (just smaller portions)
3- If I have a sweet tooth I will eat dessert first ( then I am not trying to STUFF it in when I am already full
4- I love food and people are suprised at my size now when they see how often I eat.
5- Don't deprive yourself
6- The hardest part for me was changing to diet pop. o that was horible but now I don't even like regular pop (it taste like syrup-yuck)
