Did you see the stuffed doggie and kitty that you can order for these? I have the dog and use it for the older pups and they love it. You stick the snuggle safe inside it and it keeps it warm. The dog is big so plenty big enough for them to lay on even older plus it keeps them nice and toasty. Just an idea if you are worried about the size. Snuggle Safe Heating Pad Cover - Dog.com
How about one of those self warming beds? I've used those before as well and they work good too. Sleep-Right™ Self-Warming Thermal Pet Bed - Cooling & Heated Pet Beds
Hope this helps some. |
Thank you so much!! Do you know if the self warming one heats as well as an actual heating pad? I still worry that it doesn't look flat enough. Maybe I am just so stuck with the picture of what Livi's newborns looked like last time. I just keep thinking about how tiny they were and I worry that they could tumble off these pads...of course, they were only 2oz. at birth so maybe a puppy with a bit more size would do better with these. ??
