First, welcome to YT! Second, with your training issues: you definitely can't leave her in her crate for more than three hours at a time. If you're gone pretty much all day you need to get an exercise pen and lay down some pee pads for her. At this age their little bladders are so tiny and they couldn't hold it even if they wanted to. Try to put her on a food and water schedule. Set your alarm to take her out in the middle of the night, feed her in the morning then take her out 30 min after, have your hubby do it again right before he leaves, when you get home, and then again before you go to sleep. Follow that routine and stick to it so that the puppy can remember her schedule. Also, try putting a bell on your door and ring it every time you take her out while saying "go potty" or whichever phrase you choose (and make sure you're saying this to her while she's outside going potty as well) until she learns to go and ring it herself to let you know that she has to go potty. Good luck!
