You are right about the better quality food. Most people just look at the price of the bag and think that just because the bag costs more that they are going to be spending more money to feed their dog. With the high quality stuff (no empty fillers), the dogs actually need to eat much less to be satisfied and the same size bag lasts much longer. So, in the long run, you spend less per day and the best stuff is actually cheaper. It's a win-win for your dog and your pocketbook.
