Yes, but they are processed in a manner that takes out the bacteria.......

The toothbrushing takes time......I begin introducing my pups at 8 weeks of age to the brushing process, putting a bit on my finger and allowing them to lick it, then gently inserting my finger into their mouth. Once they've got that down I add the rubber finger brush and start the brushing motions. After they get use to that, then I introduce them to the toothbrush....I've used the the toothpaste to train my show dogs to allow the judge look into their mouths.....
