Apple was one, when I got 4 month old Buzz...I think it worked out well, as they were close in weight (Apple is a smaller yorkie than my Buzzy Boy) I don't like that she is constantly beating him up, but I talked to the Vet, and she laughed and said it was good exercise for them both, as long as she stops if he indicates she's getting too rough, and she does...Right now, they're side by side chewing a bully curly stick, and all is well...You never know when there's going to be a ruckus...All in all, the 1 year and 4 month worked out well for us....I don't think I'd want a really young (little) one, unless you can supervise all the time, until the little one isn't little anymore.... |
