Alright, I've got a few questions regarding some issues that my husband and I are worried about. Can ANY of you help me

1. We've noticed a little black place on the side of her bottom lip..close to the corner...that looks as if it's a scab

. I don't know HOW she got it or what it is ...but it looks kinda gross and has black flaky stuff coming off of it. I don't know what it could be from.. unless our other dog nipped at her while playing with each other, but she's never yipped or showed any sign of pain or getting hurt. She acts as if it bothers her when I try to look at it gut she scratches the tar out of it. What do you guys think it could be?

2. The previous owner told us that she was first 7 months and then 9...which I'm confused on which to believe her because she's about 3 lbs and her teeth look MIGHTY small. So her age, I guess I can only go by what the woman told me. I've never owned a furbaby until now..so i'm VERY concerned. She told me that we shouldn't change her food from pedigree because that's what she's used to..but IF WE HAPPEN to..then do it slowly on a long drawn out process. (Which i'm thinking..duhhh!!, I know how finicky they're poor little tummies can be) So I guess my question is...how big do their teeth get? Her bite looks normal...but when she eats her food..she can only pick one up at a time and then carries it into our living room and chews on it for a little while before going to get another piece.

Please help me because my husband and I are very concerned about her. We know a little about yorkies..but mainly from what we google search. That's another reason why he found this site for me...on which I love so much. I've got so many nice people to help
