I use the extra virgin organic coconut oil as a dietary supplement for the dogs. Their coats look wonderful. It has helped with licking/itching issues with one of my dogs.
I have only used it on their coats as an additive to their shampoo. Once every couple months, I'll add about 1/8 cup c-oil to 2 cups of their shampoo) (, and about 1/8 cup of water and shake it up well, then wash like normal and rinse reeeal well. Then I don't used conditioner after that. Works great!! and they smell greeeeeat!!
