 my experience
I have a 1.5 year old male Yorkie. His ears were fine and then suddenly 2 months ago, he had a droopy ear. I was pretty worried. Then I posted my concerns here and the advice was to have his ears tipped. I had not done that yet because I didn't realize how much better he would look. I called my groomer and talked to her about it. She said she had noticed the ear, but didn't think tipping the ears would matter much. I had her do it anyway. When I walked into her shop and saw my little boy, I was amazed. Both ears standing up beautifully. My groomer was just as surprised and excited as I was. We don't know if the ear was actually droopy or iff all that hair just made it look that way. Anyway, I am pretty happy and grateful for the wonderful information I got from some kind people here. My dog even acts happier and now. He finally looks like the Yorkies in the magazines. I didn't know the tipping would make so much difference. |
