Put her up on a chair or stool, that way she won't be able to walk away. Now the floor is much farther away. Say down and put the treat BELOW seat level. They will have to lay all the way down to get closer to the treat.

Maggie is shorter than Buster but I will try putting her on a chair. She will "dance" this is where she will get on her hind legs and twirl around when I say "dance". She will shake but she's very slow with it, same with the high five. She will wave but she's again slow with getting the paw up. Buster is so eager for the treat I can hardly get the words out of my mouth before he's doing the trick. I keep telling Maggie there is more to it than good looks...
