Keeping you and Bailey both in my prayers. I really think it's much harder on us than them! I'm sure she'll do fine and be back home snuggling with you in no time. Sounds like you'll both need it! As for dog-sitting, not sure I would take that on. Lola was spayed earlier this month along with hernia surgery and tooth extractions, and she slept for the first 3 days. After that, we had to work to keep her quiet - she was a wild woman. Thankfully our Toby is very mild mannered and didn't bother her much. Might be best to let Bailey take it easy (and mom too!)
