Thanks. I just started really using my camera and the different settings this last summer. I have had it for years, and I got determined to get some better shots. It is a Canon Digital Rebel Xt (yeah, one of the first models) and I have been using a cheap zoom 75-300 lens. It is a terrible lens, really, but I told myself I was not going to purchase a better lens until I mastered the crappy one. LOL. And, I think most of these pictures were taken on the macro setting.
