This is the one I purchased for taking on the road to shows. Pretty sturdy, I've had it for several years. The reason I purchased without the grooming arm is that I bought a grooming arm that folds away, when not needed. What you buy is dependent on the room you have for a grooming area in your home.
When purchasing shears, don't go for the most expensive ones until you get better. Reason is you do a lot of dropping them.....and that throws them out of wack. Wait awhile until you get a bit more proficient before investing in more expensive shears. But, one thing you may want to consider is the quieter the better. You'll need a pair of thinning shears, curved and straight and small sharp ones for trimming those lil paws. Oh! invest in a pair of baby manicure scissors.
