These are some great answers! I love YorkieTalk!

I find that many times people will approach saying, "Does he/she bite," as they reach out to pet. Maybe it is not good to tell hem they bite because we want to have our pups accepted in stores, etc. So I will usually respond with, "Well, I wouldn't put MY hand up there"!! (with a little twinkle in your eye) They stop and look puzzled not knowing if you are really serious!

Say something to catch them off guard. "Do you need to wash your hands first"??? Or you could hand them a baby wipe and tell them, "That's the rules."

Little children want to come up and grab your pup. I tell them her name and that they can't pet her, but they can wave and say hello. (This works great for real little kids)
