 Harmony is a mommy, come see!!
After a long and stressful weekend, Harmony had two beautiful healthy baby girls!!
We had a little scare but all seems to be well now.
Harmony went into labor Christmas evening. She had contractions for a few hours and then stopped completely. So I thought for sure she would have them Saturday evening as she had a thick discharge, the kind you see shortly before pups come. But no such luck, no signs of labor at all.
So finally Sunday evening, she goes into labor and has a little girl weighing in at 3oz.
But then she completely stops labor again. So we wait and wait so more. 9 hours later, early monday morning she had her second girl weighing in at 4oz.
But that wasn't all. She didn't pass the placentas when she had the pups so we took her into the vet for a check up and an oxytocin shot. She did pass them later on this evening.
Anyways, Harmony is doing great now and is such a good mommy, she loves her little girls!!
So it was a very stressful whelp for us but all is well and we have 2 baby girls and a healthy happy momma to be thankful for.
