Thanks everyone! I'm going to research Cosequin. I was considering switching vets before because I liked the idea of a holistic vet, but we've been with our current vet since I brought Chase home. Maybe I will look into a vet specialized in toy breeds as well...
We're trying to discourage him from jumping off the couch, etc. As for weight gain, it's never been an issue for us (yay!).
On a side note, I learn so much from this forum. It definitely helps during vet visits and they are always surprised when I'm able to "speak" in medical jargon
