There really is no way to know what to expect of her lifespan without knowing specifically any problems she may have. At 16 months I would think she should already have all her adult teeth. And she does seem very young to already be having teeth issues. The good thing is that she can eat soft food if her teeth continue to deteriorate. Other than that, you will have to face any other problems as they arise, and there may not be any others. At least, that is what we are hoping and praying for. On the flip side, I had a little dog that got hit by a car when she was only 10 months old. It messed up her quality of life forever until we finally had to have her euthanized at 10 years old due to her injuries as a puppy. My point though, is just to show you that even healthy babies can take a turn for the worse at a drop of a dime. Cherish the moments and don't worry about what is to come until that day comes. Has your baby seen a vet recently?
