I never thought of it that way... it's both disgusting and almost laughable in the aftermath.

I've had to pull bones out of Remy's mouth quite a few times. You would not believe how many random chicken bone / parts get discarded on Baltimore city streets. Walking him requires the utmost diligence. He finds them everywhere! One evening he found picked up a half-eaten wing and it took me quite some time to get it out of his mouth. I was on my hands and knees on the sidewalk, basically prying his mouth open to pull it out. He had it almost half down his throat, the thing was like 2 inches long. This woman with a small schnauzer stopped to try to help me.

Its bad enough that I have to worry about Remy swallowing these da*ned things, but then I get to thinking that I've got some strangers germs all over my hands to. Disgusting! At least yours had "family" germs!
