When my kids were babies I was crazy with things the could choke on. I would peel grapes even and cut them up. I wouldn't give them cheerios, I would give them rice crispies to start out with. I was terrified of them choking.

I too am so glad my dh was here. He actually thought he broke my son's ribs he was squeezing so hard. He confessed to me that he was petrified also because he was out of ideas if that didn't work. He said he knows there is just a certain amount of air in the lungs to push it out but after all the air is out then what??? I had my hand on the phone, if my son hadn't gotten it out that second I was calling 911. I wasn't gong to wait until we were outof ideas. Meanwhile my 20 year old is downdtairs and afterward he says oh you should of just called me I am certified. He works at the YMCA in the summer as a camp councelor and he has to be certified. I'm lucky I even didn't pass out myself. I gotta tell you I am still shaken up this morning.

Thank you for all your good wishes.
