Chewing Gum - if students were allowed to chew gum in school, they wouldn't feel a need to hide it under desks, etc, when they're done with it.
In my middle school, gum was absolutely banned. But there was gum EVERYWHERE from kids who spit it out instead of throwing it away. Now in high school, we're allowed to chew gum, and the gum goes no where but the garbage.
