That is weird.
Were the puppies vet checked prior to being sent? I don't want to offend you, it is just my girl suffers from EXTREME dry eye due to the absence of tear production in her left eye. She has had ulcers an eye infections in the past, something pretty easy to find by a vet. However, it has NEVER been suggested to me to have her eye removed.
Even by the ophthamologist we were referred to. I think I would seek additional care before following this advice.
