It is getting pretty bad I dont think tilly is going to get around accepting sami! Sami keeps trying to play and he is not intimadated by her he keeps plugging (Bugging) away, but she had bit him pretty hard on the face the other night and really p---sed me off at tilly and I am constantly haveing to keep my eye on the both of them! which is alot of work, sometimes tilly will be in the play stand butt up and all and poor little setup sami goes for it then Wham!! she gets him good and then she runs under the bed(her den) and hides from me! anyway I hope your babys will get along alot better and wish you luck and if anyone here in YT that has any suggestions I would be so appreciated... :
Last weekend I was watching that show "Good Dog U" on Animal Planet. A woman had a dog and then rescued a new one. Well the old one got really jealous and would try to vicously attack the new one. I don't know if you've ever seen the show, but a trainer comes in and offers suggestions and advice. They talked about the feeding thing, so that I thought I'd tell you what I remember him saying.

When you feed them, feed the older one first. Once the older one is settled with eating, and you praise him for eating well on his own, then offer food to the newer one. Keep the praises going as the old one continues to eat without any incidents. And put their food kinda far apart from each other. If it's too close they will feel like they're in competition. This is one of perks the older one gets for being the older dog - he gets to eat first.

Also, when it comes to playing and petting, try to give the older one attention first. Pet him for a few seconds. Then pet the new one for a few seconds. When the older one doesn't react badly to you petting the new one, pet the older one again and give praise. The old one was being good by not getting upset at you for petting the new one.

I hope this makes a little sense. I think the basic idea overall is to give the older dog a few perks for being the older one, so it feels special.
