He saw the vet today to check the splint. He emailed the radiographs to the specialist and they concur it is just the proximal ulna without joint involvement. However, my husband is taking him to the specialist today for a second opinion and so he can take his own x-ray. If it is just the ulna, they say it should heal in 3-4 weeks. However, from what i have read, statistics show that the bone will be more suseptible to fracture.
