I can buy the 4 lb bag and have it shipped for less than the cost of one bag of food at our local stores. I have emailed the company about samples but haven't heard back yet. I order my dogs food online. I order from what ever site carries the food I use and is onsale or the cheapest. I have ordered from petfooddirect.com, they usually have decent prices and will run sales on shipping pretty much weekly but I still pay around 12 for shipping and I only live a state away from them . I have also ordered from waggintails.com, pawschoice, and most recently
The Pet Health and Nutrition Center - you natural pet store: Litchfield Connecticut New England which shipping is around 8.95. I dont have a store in my area that carries the Acana so I generally pay around 22.00 for the food and shipping. There is also... petnetdirect, k9cuisine and lukes all natural pet food. I hate paying for shipping cost, but I havent found a food in my area that my dogs will eat and do well on. We tried the Evangers, pheasant and brown rice, I ordered it off thier website and was very happy with thier prices but my dogs quite eating it after 2 weeks, it literally sat in the bowl untouched for days. (i supplement with wet food too so they werent starving) Anyways, good luck with your search and please let me know if you find an online website that has good shipping prices...
