Choking is a scary thing! I've never seen anyone choke but I've choked before. It is one of the scariest feelings. It was probably one of my most embarrassing moments ever since we were in a public restaurant.
We were at Bob Evan's & I swallowed one of their potato chunks without chewing and immediately started panicking & hitting the table to get my boyfriends attention. He said I was starting to turn blue & my eyes were red & bugging out. I kept taking a drink of my milk to try & "wash it down" but of course it had nowhere to go so once he started hitting my back my breakfast ended up covered in chocolate milk and some guy then kept staring at me while my boyfriend finished his breakfast.
Now anytime I even swallow something that just doesn't feel right my throat tenses up & I feel it happening all over again. It's scary.
I'm glad your son ended up okay & you and your husband knew what to do!
