Does any ones yorkie do the I surrender thing or stand on there back legs with arms up like a baby wanting to be picked up? When Callie is running around trying to play chase me and not wanting to get picked up due to whatever reason (hyper, doesn't want her meds or something) if she gets to a place like the hallway where there is no where to go she will throw her front legs in the air standing on just her back legs as if to say ok mommy fine you win. Whenever she wants to be picked up due to being scared or like when we went to the ER vet she stands on her back legs with her front paws up to be picked up and placed on my hip like a baby or if she just knows its time to be picked up because we are going somewhere. She doesn't even have to have her front paws on something for balance most of the time.
