i would NOT DO THIS as while it is rare that fatty acids can cause pancreatitis it can so i would not take any chance with a pancreatic dog adding any fatty acid to their diet - i gave coconut oil to my allergy yorkie BUT NEVER my pancreatic yorkie even though others told me it was ok i will not chance it as it is still a fatty acid so it is a risk and a dog that has had pancreatitis before is at a greater risk of getting it again very easily
