It took months for our 2 1/2 year old male to accept a new female pup. Just a lot of patience.
Be sure to give them equal attention and that each has their own crate, toys, bowls.... I found that Finnigan would get upset when I was doing something with Gwenndilyn and not him.
It just takes a little time. They'll be playing together in no time.
