It's just my opinion. I have been involved in Pitt Fighting /Rescue on the streets of NY for 10 years and it is not what I have seen. Your dad's pitt I am sure is loved and cared for. The bait is not always a larger dog it is in fact smaller animals, that is why I have the opinion of any size dog would trigger a violent reaction. Again it's JMO
