So I think one or two are perfect numbers. You can give them the attention they need, and you can still travel. With one, you can take them everywhere, and with two they entertain themselves a lot more  |
I do think two is a perfect number. Because I think it's good for dogs to have each other. I am sure I will add a 2nd one day but for now, Jackson gets out and about to the dog park often so he gets the doggy social interaction he needs. If/when I add a second, I worry about the same things... it won't be as easy to take two to family members houses, on vacation, etc. I really enjoy doing that too.
