Well I have six. I think I'm at my max. My feelings are you should have only the amount you can finacially afford to care for and only the amount you have the time for. My husband is retired and I work part time and my boys are older, so our Yorkies always have our attention. The vet bills are high and that's the down side and they are a lot of upkeep, but all the $$ and time we put into them is more then made up for with the joy they bring to us. Elaine |
