Remy is 16 months old, not yet neutered
He does not mark in the house and does not need a belly band. He was completely potty trained by 7 months, has lifted his leg since about 6 months.
He was never crated, and had the full run of the house as soon as he was big enough to handle it. We used a pad until he was about 1 year old.
IMO each pup is different and your training also contributes
