I keep them all in between. About 3 in from the floor or so. I'm trying to let Ariel's hair grow out all over. Sebastian keeps his short b/c his urine gets all over?!!! In the back of his legs??? The hair by his elbows??? And still his hair is about an inch long and he manages all this!!! I do let him grow out sometimes then I bathe him every 2-3 days. Then I get my I love seeing him long fix and it all comes off again! LOL!
