I haven't travel with Ares yet (being married to a Marine I'm sure we will soon) but When we were going to fly with our boxer the airline told us if he was a dog who has seizures he could fly in cabin for free. We ended up driving so the only thing I would suggest is go online and/ or to pet store for an airline approved carrier, puppy pads, and toys. Oh bully sticks also... check with your vet in regards to the benedryl. I hope your flight goes well!
