Bailey hated the car when I got him too. I just kept taking him with me. Now, in the 17 days that I've had him, he's fine. My only advice would be to try again, taking Biddy for car rides, even just short ones around the block maybe with the new puppy together

Lexi hated riding in the car too, I did the same and now when I say bye bye she runs for the door.
Also, she is much more content in a doggie carseat.
