Todays im welcoming a yorkie puppy to my family and was a little concerned about weather he's mixed or full-breed. The puppy is 8 wks old and only has a sopt of black hair on its side but the rest is a goldish color. Having seen a pic of the mother who is gold in color and being informed by the seller that both parents are small yorkies, i think it's legitimate. Can, any of you tell me is it possible for yorkie pups to be born with this color hair.

The gold color being the incorrect is a fault. Since the majority of pups are born black with tan markings and changing over to blue.
