Yep .... this is what puppies do
They actually do a few things but biting is one
that needs to be monitored
As the care giver to your dog it's up to you to nip this in the bud
(No pun intended)
You have to let the little one know what is acceptable and what is not acceptable
Like what other people have told you the way you do it
is when they bite you either make a loud noise

NO
OW!!!
and you go away
You can also give them a little tug on the back of the neck but it isn't needed
The loud noise is to get their attention
and the lack of attention is the correction
Puppies live for attention and do not make the mistake of trying to scold them
because if you do all you're going to be is a noisy squeaky toy
