Chase went to the vet for a rabies vaccine yesterday, during the visit he was diagnosed with luxating patella grade 1 on his left hind leg. She said a lot of toy breeds have the "trick knee" and we'll continue to monitor, but it should not be a problem. The weather's been really cold here and towards the end of a walk, Chase does favor the LP leg. It doesn't happen unless it's freezing out and after a moment he's able to walk again?
Even though there is no way to predict if the LP will progress, I really hope it doesn't. His favorite activities are running and jumping
. Should I start him on Cosequin? The vet did not suggest any supplements or doing anything different. I don't want to give him anything that is not necessary...
