I think you ended up with the less spunky one - if I read your post correctly. I chose the less spunky pup too, when we got Rowdy and he really is pretty laid back and I absolutely love that about him. Don't get me wrong, he can be crazy wild when he meets new people or dogs, but for the most part he is pretty calm and laid back. I have had a jack russell terrier and believe you me, I know SPUNKY. I'm really glad that Rowdy is not too rowdy
he is just right. Others on the board are correct though, the less spunky one may turn out to be more spunky later, you never can tell for sure. But my message to you is that my Rowdy stayed less spunky and your new baby may too.
