I am taking a road trip Dec 27 Jan 2. Day 60 of her gestation is Jan 6. I know she will probably (hopefully go until the 11th or 12th). I am debating taking her on the road with me. My choices right now are : 1) leave her home with my adult sons (they are 21 & 24). They work all day, so she will be alone during the day. or 2) take her with me in the car. It is a long drive, but she normally loves car rides and is content as long as she is with me. I tease my husband and say she is permanently attached to my hip. My gut feeling is to take her. My husband disagrees. I would love your two cents. As far as rearranging this trip-it is not an option. (Going to go visit an elderly parent who has advanced Alzheimers...we just can't skip this trip). And for those who will ask: yes we planned this litter and yes, I'm prepared.
