I agree. We dont have parties or people dropping in either. What it does mean is that my husband is home and around to help. I got my first pup and my current pup in October, but my second pup I brought home on New Years Day - a quiet day for us. To be honest, if you were to choose an optimum time to get a pup I would say summer as we spend lots of time outdoors in the garden, but then again, summer is when some people go away on holiday. Everyones situation is different just like ginger says above. I think its just important to make sure when youre getting the pup that you have plenty of time for them whatever month of the year it is.
