I know how you feel. When I first got Chase, I was obsessed with taping his ears and tracking his growth rate. As time passes, you'll realize none of it matters. Chase has floppy ears and is 9lbs and I think he's absolutely perfect.
Maybe give it another shot and see if it will stand if it bothers you... I'm sure your baby will look cute either way
