I don't mean to make fun of someone losing their horse to theft, but that is nothing new where I am from. Horse thiefs have been around forever and not just during wild west times. I am sorry the family is going through this. Whoever took the horse probably is familiar with this particular horse and it's breeding and is interested in keeping that foal. Sad deal, but stealing any animal is going waaay to far, not just a horse.
