It may seem otherwise for you, but these people that replied to you already only have their best intention on their heart. It is very true all they mentioned.
Usually a breeder will have invested 3 times the regular yorkie puppy price just in pre-breeding tests before ready to breed, added the cost of the dog it self...
And if you end with a C section at the end, it can cost from a few hundred dollars to thousands depending on the area where you live. And of course the quality of vet care you are getting.
You and your sister may be better off buying a second yorkie each one of you .
But again, i learned with my family, i was raised in a breeders home. I am also not against anyone who really wants to learn and do it right. But people and sometimes even vets who do not recommend the proper tests and steps are a huge problem for the breeds we love !
You need to research about
: Liver Shunts, Legg Perthes Disease, Collapsed trachea, Pancreatites, Hydrocephalus , Luxating patellas, Etc... just to give you a few head start points to be getting educated about.
Than there is the other stuff: Conformation, which is how a yorkie is supposed to look.
You will find great help here. If you take the advice you get the right way , you will be set for success!
