It depends on what flavor/formula you are using. I think one of thier products doesnt contain the fish meal but I dont know off hand what that one is. I wont feed Canidae because it is made by diamond and they have just too many issues latetly. I have fed that food in the past and after a few months of using it, it stop agreeing with my dogs. It is a decent food, other than the use of that perservative. If your dog is doing good on it and you are comfortable feeding than continue to do so.
