Yep! Of course it's a hassle.....but, if you want ears that stand up that's what you need to do. Ear infections aren't predicated on floppy ears. Keep the ear canals free of hair (plucking) and use a cleaning solution with a drying agent. As a groomer, I've dealt with ear infections on yorkies with their ears up......just need to make sure the proper grooming procedures are taken to keep the ears healthy.
